No. 22 Women’s Tennis Opens with Clemson Winter Classic

CLEMSON, SC – The 22nd-ranked Clemson women’s tennis team will welcome No. 45 LSU, No. 55 Tulane, Charleston Southern, and Kansas for the Clemson Winter Indoor Classic beginning on Friday at 8:00 am. The tournament, which runs through Sunday, is a hidden dual match format, meaning the results will not count toward team records, but will count for the individuals.

Flight winners will be determined by the player with the best record at their position. Each player will play three singles and three doubles matches. Play will begin at 8:00 am each day, and use all four courts of the indoor tennis center. There will be as many as eight singles flights and four doubles flight champions.

Clemson is scheduled to begin singles play at 1:30 pm against LSU, and doubles at 5:00 pm against Charleston Southern.
