CLEMSON, SC – The 17th-ranked Clemson women’s tennis team (14-3, 6-0 ACC) returns to ACC action this weekend, traveling to 28th-ranked Georgia Tech (7-5, 4-2 ACC) and 43rd-ranked Boston College (9-5, 1-3 ACC). Clemson and Georgia Tech square off on Friday at 3 p.m. in Atlanta before taking on Boston College on Sunday at 11 a.m. in Chestnut Hill, Mass. Clemson is in the midst of a seven match winning streak and has not dropped a set in the past three matches. During the streak, the Tigers have claimed 45 of possible 49 available points. The Tigers have not played since a 7-0 win over North Florida on Mar. 16. Clemson is one of two ACC teams left unbeaten in conference play. Clemson defeated both the Yellow Jackets and Eagles last year by an identical 6-1 score. To date, the Tigers are undefeated all-time against Boston College, holding an 8-0 advantage. Against Georgia Tech, Clemson leads the series 27-9 including a 14-2 record in matches played at Georgia Tech. The Tigers will play the final two of a six-match run away from home that encompasses six states in the month of March. This month, Clemson has played matches in South Carolina (vs. Wake Forest), Indiana (Notre Dame), Pennsylvania (Pitt), Maryland (Maryland), Florida (North Florida), and will add Georgia (Georgia Tech) and Massachusetts (Boston College) to the list.
