CLEMSON, SC – The 14th-ranked Clemson women’s tennis team will continue its stretch away from home as they play Maryland and North Florida this weekend. First, the Tigers (12-3, 5-0 ACC) will go for a sixth straight league win against Maryland (5-5, 1-4 ACC) on Friday at 3 p.m. in College Park, MD. The squad will then venture out of conference for the final time in the regular season to face North Florida (6-2, 0-0 A-Sun) Sunday at 1 p.m. at a neutral site at Barry University in Miami Shores, FL.
Clemson and Maryland will play against each other for the final time as conference opponents on Sunday. The Tigers own a resounding 31-3 (.912) advantage in the all-time series over the Terrapins, including a 6-1 victory in Clemson last season. Conversely, Clemson and North Florida have never met on the court, but the Tigers hold a 5-0 record against teams in the Atlantic Sun Conference.
