MINNEAPOLIS, MN – Four members of the Clemson men’s swimming team will compete in the NCAA Championship Meet in Minneapolis. The event begins on Thursday, March 24 and will end on Saturday, March 26.
Seth Broster, Eric Bruck, Chris Dart, and Chris Reinke have all qualified to participate in nine combined events – seven individuals and two relays – at the meet. Clemson had the third-most qualifiers among ACC schools.
The schedule will be the same for all three days of competition. Preliminary trials will begin at 12 p.m. daily, while finals will begin at 7 p.m. nightly.
On Thursday, the Clemson foursome will swim in the first event of the meet, the 200 freestyle relay. Dart will compete in the 200 individual medley, and Bruck will race in the 50 freestyle.
On Friday, Broster will swim in the 100 butterfly, while Reinke will compete in the 200 freestyle. Dart will also swim in the 100 backstroke.
On Saturday, Dart will compete in his third individual event when he swims in the 200 backstroke. Bruck will also race in the 100 freestyle. Then, the Tigers will wrap up competition by swimming in the 400 freestyle relay.
Live stats and live video feed will be available throughout the meet. On Friday and Saturday, action will be televised beginning at 7:45 p.m. on ESPN3.com.
