CLEMSON, S.C. – The Clemson Women’s Tennis team (9-7, 1-5 ACC) is set to take on Radford (2-9) for the first time in the program’s history on Friday, March 15 at 12 p.m. at the Duckworth Family Tennis Facility.
“We want to get back to basics and hone in on doing the little things exceptionally well,” head coach Boomer Saia said. “We have had some injuries in the last few weeks, so we are working towards getting healthy and returning to playing Tiger Tennis!”
This match will be available for live streaming and scoring, with free admission to the match.
The Tigers are coming off two losses to Duke and UNC. Each of Clemson’s last three conference opponents has come against top-25 competition, with two of those in the top five. The Tigers clinched their first ACC-Conference win against Virginia Tech, going 4-3. Jenna Thompson, Leigh Van Zyl, Eleni Louka, and Dani Medvedeva all shined in their singles matches to secure the win over the Hokies.
Radford has dropped the last three of their matches, notably against ETSU, as the Tigers defeated them 4-3 earlier in the season.
