Louka and Thompson Compete at ITA All-Americans

CHARLESTON, S.C. — Clemson women’s tennis players Eleni Louka and Jenna Thompson are competing at the ITA All-Americans Championships in Charleston this weekend. The pair will compete in the doubles draw later today.

Louka and Thompson will face off with Old Dominion’s Sasnouskaya and Starodubtseva in the round of 32. The winner of that match will face the winner of a battle between doubles teams from Oklahoma and Louisville.

The competition consists of the best pairings in the nation, and is a great measuring stick for two of the Tigers’ top players. Louka and Thompson were the pre-season No. 29-ranked doubles pair. They went 6-8 last season including a victory over the second-ranked pair in the nation. Overall, they went 2-2 against nationally ranked opponents.
