CLEMSON, SC – The Clemson women’s basketball team will welcome Florida State to Littlejohn Coliseum on Thursday night for a televised match-up. The teams are scheduled to begin play at 7:00 pm from Littlejohn Coliseum. The game will be broadcast on Comcast/Charter Sports Southeast with commentators Joe Block and Robin Muller. The action can also be heard on the airwaves in the upstate on WCCP (10.49 FM) with Dan Scott providing play-by-play and www.clemsontigers.com.
D’Lesha Lloyd will look to extend her double-figure scoring streak to 15 straight against the Seminoles. The Columbia, SC native is averaging 17.9 points during the stretch and ranks sixth in the ACC with a 15.4 scoring average. Tasha Taylor, who is coming off of a 27-point performance against North Carolina, is averaging 12.4 points per game, while freshman Lele Hardy boasts an 11.3 scoring figure. Hardy and Lloyd are tied for the team lead in rebounding as both average 7.1 per game, while Christy Brown leads the Lady Tigers with 92 assists.
Clemson Vs. Florida State, The Series Tonight’s game featuring the Lady Tigers and Seminoles will be the 33rd match-up in history between the two schools, dating back to the 1980-81 season. Clemson holds a 23-9 all-time advantage, including an 11-3 lead in games played at Littlejohn Coliseum. However, Florida State has been the victor in the last eight meetings, including two last season. The Lady Tigers last defeated the Seminoles during the 2001-02 season.
Scouting the Seminoles The Florida State Seminoles enter Thursday night’s game as winners of their last four, including three straight in ACC play. They boast a 14-3 overall record and are led by senior guard Alicia Gladden.
Gladden owns a team-best 13.5 scoring average while also pulling down 5.8 rebounds per game. She has collected 33 steals to rank first on the team while also handing out 37 assists. Britany Miller leads the Seminoles on the boards with 6.2 per game while Shante Williams has tallied a team-high 63 assists.
Overall, Florida State averages 71.1 points per game while holding their opponents to just 57.5 per game. They are also out-rebounding their opponents by an 11.4 margin, while shooting a 45.7 percentage from the field.

Carrie Whitehurst – has played 56 minutes in five games against Florida State with eight points and five rebounds. Susan Yenser – had eight points, five rebounds, three assists, two blocked shots and a steal in the overtime game at home last season against Florida State.
