Lady Tigers To Face Maryland Thursday Night

The Clemson Lady Tiger basketball team will play at Maryland on Thursday, January 9, at 7:00 p.m. at the Comcast Center in College Park, MD. The Lady Tigers are 9-4 overall and 1-1 in the ACC. Maryland will enter the game with a 7-6 record overall and a 1-1 mark in league play. The Lady Tigers are coming off a 69-53 loss to number-one Duke on Monday night in Durham, NC.

Clemson is led in scoring by Chrissy Floyd with a 17.5 ppg. average. Freshman center, Amanda White leads the Lady Tigers in rebounding with a 7.8 rpg. mark. Maryland is led in scoring by Renneika Razor with a 15.5 ppg. average. Delvona Oliver leads the Terrapins in rebounding with a 7.5 rpg. mark.

This will be the 50th meeting between Clemson and Maryland on the basketball court. The Terrapins lead the overall series 28-21.
