Pritzen made three saves in the final 42 minutes of the game.

Clemson and UNC-Charlotte played scoreless soccer through the first 70 minutes of the match, but then the 49ers put three goals on the board in the next 12 minutes. “This game was an aberration,” said Head Coach Todd Bramble. “We just have to make sure that this one loss does not cause another and turn into more losses for us. We are looking forward to returning home and playing a good match against South Carolina on Friday.”

The #17 Lady Tigers will play host to 13th-ranked South Carolina on Friday, September 21 at 7:30 p.m. The match between the in-state rivals will be the second in a double-header to be held at Riggs Field on Friday evening.
