GREENSBORO, N.C. – Clemson junior outside hitter Kaylin Korte has been named to the Preseason All-ACC Team as voted by the league’s head coaches, the conference office announced Friday. Additionally, the Tigers were predicted to finish 12th in the ACC preseason coaches’ poll.

In 2017, Korte was named a Second Team All-ACC selection after leading the Tigers in kills per set (3.36) and points per set (3.85), both of which put her ninth among ACC leaders. Her average of 3.36 kills per set currently ranks ninth all-time among Clemson career leaders. The Morris, Illinois native also led the team last season in service aces (21) and attempts (1,006) last season, while ranking second on the team in digs per set (2.23).
Korte was named to USA Volleyball’s Collegiate National Team-Detroit, where she trained competed alongside some of the nation’s top collegiate volleyball players, including Clemson’s Brooke Bailey.

Clemson returns to Jervey Gym Saturday, Aug. 18 for an exhibition against Furman, slated for 3 p.m. The Tigers head to Columbia, South Carolina to face ETSU, Texas A&M Corpus Christi and South Carolina for the Gamecock Invitational Aug. 24-25.
