Kappa Alpha Makes Donation to Golf

CLEMSON, S.C. – The Clemson chapter of the Kappa Alpha fraternity made a generous donation of $2,000 to the Clemson University Golf Paws organization in honor of the late Steve Bond. The Kappa Alpha fraternity officers presented the check to Clemson head coach Larry Penley on April 8^th, 2016.

A class of 1980 Clemson graduate, Bond was a four-year letter winner in golf and a member of the Kappa Alpha fraternity. The Clemson University Golf Paws organization is dedicated to funding special projects for the men and women’s golf teams. Bonds wife, Margaret is a founding board member of the organization and is very active in the Clemson community.
