CLEMSON, S.C. – For the second consecutive season, Hal Hershfelt has been named to the 2023 DI Midfielders to Watch list, as announced by United Soccer Coaches on Friday.
This announcement comes after Hershfelt was named to the Preseason All-ACC Team on Thursday alongside teammate Megan Bornkamp who was named a Defender to Watch by the United Soccer Coaches.
Hershfelt started 18 games in 2022 and added three goals to tack up her career high to 15 goals as a Tiger. The Atlanta, G.A. native wrapped up the 2022 campaign on the Second Team All-ACC and was listed on the United Soccer Coaches Second Team All-Atlantic Region.
Hershfelt and the No. 25 Tigers open their season on August 17th at Historic Riggs Field as they host No. 12 South Carolina. Kickoff is slated for 7 p.m
