Glover Finishes Fifth at Sunnehanna Amateur

JOHNSTOWN, PA – Clemson rising junior Lucas Glover finished fifth at the prestigious Sunnehanna Amateur at Sunnehanna Country Club in Johnstown, PA on Sunday. Glover had a 279 total, one-under-par for his 72 holes of play.

Glover, a native of Greenville, carded a 64 on the first day and had the lead after 18 holes. He had rounds of 73-72-70 over the final three days and finished in a tie for fifth with John Harris of Minneapolis, MN and Steve Scott, who just finished his career at the University of Florida. Ed Loar, an All-American at Oklahoma State, finished first with a 272 score, five shots better than his Cowboys teammate, Charles Howell.
