Conti Named United Soccer Coaches National Player of the Week after Stellar Performances

CLEMSON, S.C. – Just a day after being named ACC Offensive Player of the Week and a member of the Top Drawer Team of the Week,  junior forward Caroline Conti has been named the United Soccer Coaches National Player of the Week. This is the second time in Conti’s career that she has received the award.

Conti recorded a single game career-high five points against Boston College while registering a brace and an assist. This was Conti’s third brace of her career. Her goals were assisted by Makenna Morris, Megan Bornkamp and Renee Guion. Just a few days later, Conti scored a beautiful goal in the win against No. 22 Notre Dame in the ACC Quarterfinals, bringing her total to seven points in two games.

Conti and the Tigers will travel to WakeMed Park in Cary, N.C. to battle the No. 1 Virginia Cavaliers in the ACC Semifinals on Friday at 5:30 p.m. Game coverage will be available on ACC Network.
