Position: Director of Sports Science (Olympic Sports)
Jason Avedesian, Ph.D joined Clemson Athletics in November 2021 as the Director of Sports Science for Olympic Sports.
Within this role, Avedesian oversees all sports science initiatives across Clemson Olympic sports, including performance science, data analytics, research and design, and technology implementation. Avedesian also oversees the Clemson Olympic sports science internship program, consisting of a semester-long sports science curriculum. Prior Olympic sports science interns have taken positions within NCAA, MLB, and private sector organizations.
