Robbie Robinson • Inter Miami CF

Robbie Robinson earned his first start as a professional player as Inter Miami opened its season in a match against LAFC. While Inter Miami ultimately fell, Robinson played a full 90 minutes on the pitch, logging one shot.

Joe Bendik • Philadelphia Union

Bendik was named a member of the Union’s 18-man squad in the side’s season debut against FC Dallas. The Union fell to FC Dallas, 2-0.

Tommy McNamara • Houston Dynamo

McNamara earned a full match along the attacking line during the Dynamo’s debut in the 2020 season. McNamara would go on to log three shots, with the match ending in a 1-1 draw.

Andrew Tarbell • Columbus Crew SC

After joining the Columbus Crew late in the preseason, Tarbell was a part of the Crew’s opening day 18-man squad. Columbus won the match by a final score of 1-0.

 

USL Championship

Malick Mbaye • North Carolina FC

Malick Mbaye found a new home on Feb. 28 as the defender from Dakar, Senegal signed with North Carolina FC of the USL Championship. Mbaye was previously drafted by Toronto FC in the 2020 MLS SuperDraft.
