Clemson’s Kelli Kyle Competes at NCAA Championships

LAFAYETTE, IN – Clemson sophomore Kelli Kyle competed for the Tigers Friday at the 2010 NCAA Championships at the Boilermakers Aquatic Center in Lafayette, IN. She participated in the 100 backstroke.

Kyle entered the day with the 22nd best time in the country after posting a career best 53.44 at the ACC Championships to rank her second in school history. She put in a time of 54.05 in the preliminaries to finish 30th, missing the finals for the event.

She will now prepare to compete in the 200 backstroke to be held Saturday. The prelims will begin at 11:00 a.m. and the finals at 7:00 p.m.
