Clemson Women’s Tennis To Travel to 18th-Ranked Georgia Tech

CLEMSON, SC – The 53rd-ranked Clemson women’s tennis team will travel to Atlanta, GA to take on the 18th-ranked Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets on Thurs., Apr. 4. First serve is scheduled for 2:00 p.m.

Clemson is 11-7 on the season, and 3-1 in ACC matches. The Tigers have won six of their last seven, the squad’s best seven-game stretch since winning six of seven between Mar. 23-Apr. 1, 2000. Last weekend the Tigers defeated 43rd-ranked Maryland, 5-2, and 48th-ranked Virginia, 5-2.

Entering Thursday’s match, the Yellow Jackets are 13-6 overall and 3-3 in conference play. Clemson has an 18-2 all-time edge over Georgia Tech. Last season, the Tigers fell to the then 37th-ranked Yellow Jackets, 5-2.
