Clemson Women’s Tennis To Face Virginia and Maryland

CLEMSON, S.C. – The Clemson women’s tennis team (7-8, 0-2 ACC) will travel to Charlottesville, VA to take on the 63rd-ranked Cavaliers(11-4, 0-0 ACC) at the Snyder Tennis Center on Saturday at 11:00 am. The Tigers will face Maryland (5-5. 0-0 ACC) on Sunday at 11:30 am in College Park.

Clemson and Virginia first met on the court in 1978. The Tigers lead the series 21-3. Last season, the Tigers defeated the Cavaliers 5-4 in regular season conference play and then won 6-3 in the first round of the ACC Tournament.

The Tigers and the Terps have met on the court 20 times since 1983. Clemson holds a 17-3 all-time record against Maryland. In 2000, Clemson defeated Maryland by a score of 6-3.

News
