CLEMSON, SC – The Clemson women’s soccer team will play host to Georgia State in a spring exhibition game on Wednesday, April 8. The game between the Tigers and the Panthers is scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m. and will be held at Riggs Field on the Clemson campus.
Last Saturday, the Tigers played to a 1-1 tie against East Carolina in which the team put together some of its best soccer of the spring so far. Clemson scored in the first three minutes of the game following a good sequence that ended with a Lily Boleyn service and a finish by Rachel Hurd.
The team was not able to sustain the same rhythm in the second half, which resulted in an ECU goal to even the score. Both teams had several additional scoring chances, but were unable to score and the game ended in a 1-1 tie.
