CLEMSON, SC – The Clemson men’s soccer team will play Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, VA on Friday night. Match time is set for 7:00 p.m.
Clemson is now 0-3 on the year and 0-1 in the ACC. The Tigers lost to 12th-ranked Wake Forest on Saturday in the team’s latest action. Virginia Tech is now 1-3 overall and the Clemson match will be its first in league play.
“This is another crucial ACC match for us,” said Clemson Head Coach Mike Noonan. We played well at Wake Forest. For this young team to continue growth, we need to get a result on the road against a quality ACC opponent.”
This will be the ninth meeting between Clemson and Virginia Tech in men’s soccer. The series is tied 3-3-2. Clemson won the last meeting, 2-0 against Virginia Tech last season in the ACC Tournament.
