Clemson Will Play at UNC-Greensboro Tuesday Night

CLEMSON, SC – The Clemson men’s soccer team will play at UNC-Greensboro Tuesday night at 7:00 p.m. at the UNC-G Soccer Field.  Clemson has a 3-5-2 record overall this season.  The Tigers are coming off a 2-0 win over Virginia in Charlottesville, VA last Friday night.

Manolo Sanchez leads the Tigers in scoring as he has one goal and four assist for six points.  Both Ara Amirkhanian and Austin Savage have scored two goals each this season.UNC-Greensboro has a 4-4-2 record overall this season.  They also are 2-0 in the Southern Conference this season.  Hakan Ilhan has six goals and five assists this season for 17 points.This will be the eighth meeting between Clemson and the Spartans.  The Tigers lead the overall series 5-2.  The series began in 1982.After the UNC-Greensboro match, Clemson will play host to North Carolina on Friday night at 7:00 p.m. at Historic Riggs Field.
