SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Clemson women’s soccer team was dominant offensively again on Sunday, outshooting Wofford 20-5 in the match and coming away with a 3-0 victory over the Terriers on the road at Snyder Field. With the win, the Tigers improved to 4-2, while the Terriers dropped to 1-4-1.
HOW IT WAS DECIDED
In the 19th minute, freshman Sydney Dawson took a shot from inside 18 yards that the Wofford keeper deflected. Redshirt freshman Courtney Jones picked up the loose ball and netted her first collegiate goal to give Clemson a 1-0 lead.
