Clemson to Travel to Raleigh for ACC Championship

CLEMSON, SC – The 39th-ranked Clemson women’s tennis team will travel to Raleigh, NC to compete in the 2002 Atlantic Coast Conference Women’s Tennis Championship on Apr. 18-21.

The Tigers, who are the No. 4 seed in the tournament and have a 13-9 overall record, will take on No. 5 seed and 22nd-ranked Georgia Tech on Fri., Apr. 19 at 9:00 a.m. The winner of the match will play the winner of No. 1 seed Duke vs. No. 9 seed N.C. State to be played on Thurs., Apr. 18 at 1:00 p.m.

Clemson has a 19-2 all-time edge over the Yellow Jackets. Earlier this season, the Tigers defeated then 17th-ranked Georgia Tech by a score of 4-3 in Atlanta.
