Clemson To Play at Davidson Monday Night

CLEMSON, SC – The Clemson men’s soccer team will play at Davidson Monday night at 7:00 p.m.  The Tigers are 1-0 on the year following the 1-0 win over USC Upstate Friday night at Historic Riggs Field.  This will be the season opener for Davidson. Freshman TJ Casner scored the game’s lone goal with 13:59 left to go in regulation in leading Clemson to a 1-0 victory over USC Upstate. Davidson returns five starters and 18 letterwinners from a team that finished 8-8-3 in 2011.      This will be the 12th meeting between Clemson and Davidson on the soccer field.  Clemson leads the overall series 5-3-3.  The series began in 1935.  The series is tied when playing at Davidson 1-1-2.
