Clemson To Meet Gardner-Webb Sunday Evening

CLEMSON, SC – Clemson will play host to Gardner-Webb Sunday evening at 6:00 p.m. at Historic Riggs Field.  Clemson is now 3-0 on the year including a 2-1 upset victory over 15th-ranked Virginia on Friday night.Clemson is led in scoring by Thomas McNamara with three goals and one assist for seven points.  Gardner-Webb enters the match with a 2-1 record overall.  Gardner-Webb defeated USC Upstate 2-0 last Wednesday night.This will be the 12th meeting between Clemson and Gardner-Webb on the soccer field.  Clemson leads the overall series 10-1.The Tigers are off to their best start since the 2006 season.
