CLEMSON, SC – The Clemson women’s soccer team will play South Carolina Tuesday night (October 2) at 7:00 p.m. at the Lady Tigers’ Riggs Field.
Clemson will enter the match with a 5-1-0 record overall, while the Gamecocks are 5-1-2 this season. In last week’s polls, Clemson was ranked 12th by Soccer America and 15th in the NSCAA.
This will be the seventh meeting between Clemson and South Carolina on the soccer field. The Lady Tigers lead the overall series 5-1. Clemson has outscored the Gamecocks 23-4 in the previous six meetings.
South Carolina is led in scoring by Ashley Gosnell with five goals for 10 points. Becca Epstein has three goals and two assists for eight points.
Clemson is led in scoring by Deliah Arrington with five goals and three assists for 13 points. Paige Ledford and Lindsay Browne also have 13 points each this season. Browne scored three goals in the Virginia match on Saturday as the Lady Tigers defeated the Cavaliers 4-0 in ACC action.
