Clemson to Face UNC-Greensboro in Exhibition Match Saturday

The Clemson men’s soccer team will play an exhibition match this Saturday night against UNC Greensboro at 7:00 p.m. at Historic Riggs Field.

The Clemson men’s soccer team is ranked 12th in the preseason National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) poll released Tuesday. UNC-Greensboro is ranked 23rd in the same poll.

The Tigers advanced to the NCAA Final 16 last year and the Tigers return five starters from that team. Clemson also has 19 letter winners returning. The Tigers finished the 2006 season with a 13-5-2 record overall.

The Tigers will open the 2007 season on Friday, August 31, as Clemson plays host to South Carolina.
