Clemson to Face North Carolina in the Semifinal Round of the ACC Tournament

CARY, NC – The Clemson women’s soccer team will play top seeded North Carolina in the semifinal round of the 19th annual Atlantic Coast Conference Women’s Soccer Tournament at Cary, NC Friday evening at 5:00 p.m.

Clemson was a 2-1 winner over fourth-seeded Boston College Wednesday afternoon. The Lady Tigers’ Meghan Smith scored with 3:58 left in regulation in leading Clemson to the victory. The Lady Tigers are seeded fifth in the tournament. Clemson has a 11-6-2 record overall.

North Carolina is ranked tied for first in the NSCAA poll and second in the Soccer America and Soccerbuzz polls. The Tars Heels have a 19-1 record overall.
