CLEMSON, S.C. – After securing wins over Furman and Western Carolina, the Clemson Tigers earned the No. 9 slot at the conclusion of week three, as announced by United Soccer Coaches on Tuesday.
The Tigers entered the season ranked 25th but have continued to climb in the rankings each and every week. After week one, the Tigers moved into the 19th slot but then jumped to No. 11 after week two, as they now sit in the Top 10 at the end of week three.
Senior Makenna Morris and freshman Jenna Tobia both lead the team in points with 11 as Morris leads the squad in goals (4) and Tobia leads the group in assists (7).
The Top-10 Tigers enter the week with a 5-0-1 record as they are set to host No. 7 Arkansas at Historic Riggs Field on Thursday. Kick-off is slated for 7 p.m. and will be streamed on ACCNX.
