Clemson Sixth in First Spring Golf Poll

Clemson, SC – The Clemson men’s golf team is ranked sixth in the nation according to the latest Golf World coaches poll. The Tigers trail only Georgia, Oklahoma State, Southern California, Alabama and Stanford. The Tigers begin their spring schedule on Friday, February 27 at the Puerto Rico Classic in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico.

This is the fifth consecutive poll that Larry Penley’s Tigers have been ranked in the top eight in the nation. Clemson is the highest rated ACC team in the poll this week. Other ACC teams in the ranking include Georgia Tech (15), NC State (22) and Duke (24).
