Ramsey had her fifth consecutive round of par or better in leading the Tigers on Saturday. The freshman who is ranked as the number-one amateur in the world by Golfweek scored a 71 thanks to four birdies. She had a strong day on the par three holes with three birdies.

Ramsey, who is five under par for the two rounds, has a one shot lead over Eunice Yi of GRU Augusta entering the final round. Ramsey finished second by a stroke in the first tournament this year at the Cougar Classic.

Teammate Sloan Shanahan is in fourth place individually after a one over par 73 on Saturday. Shanahan had five birdies on the day, including one on the par 3 16th hole when she hit her tee shot to within three feet of the pin. She scored a 35 on the back nine. She has a two round total of 142, just three shots off of Ramsey’s lead.

Lauren Salazar also had 73 on Saturday, a five shot improvement over her first round. The freshman from California had three birdies and four bogeys. She is in 30th place individually.

McKenzie Talbert stands in 11th place overall entering the final round after scores of 72-74. The freshman had four birdies on the day. She could have had another even par score had she not made a double on the 13th hole when she hooked her tee shot. But she responded with a birdie on the 14th hole, one of two occasions she followed a bogey with a birdie.

Jessica Hoang also made a strong improvement on Saturday. After an opening 79 on Friday, she scored a 75 on Saturday, including three birdies.
