Women’s Golf 14th at Therese Hession Regional Challenge

Palos Verdes, Calif. – Chloe Holder finished 21st (+4) and the Clemson women’s golf team finished the 2025 Therese Hession Regional Challenge in 14th place. The annual event was held at the Palos Verdes Golf Club and hosted by Ohio State.

Melena Barrientos led the Tigers in the final round, carding Clemson’s only round under par of the three-day event. Barrientos shot 35 on the front and back nine to finish at -1 (70). Allison Paik finished second for the Tigers on Tuesday, carding a +2 (73), while Holder finished her final round of the tournament at +3.

Sydney Roberts finished at +7 on the day, while Katherine Schuster rounded out the Tigers’ lineup with a +8. Playing as an individual, Juliette Demeaux carded a +3. 

On the weekend, Holder finished 21st, followed by Barrientos at 34, Paik at 59, Roberts at 64 and Schuster at 82. Southern Cal earned the team title at -9, followed by Oregon, Texas, South Carolina, and Florida to round out the top five. 

The Tigers are back in action on February 16 at the 2025 Moon Golf Invitational in Melbourne, Fla.
