Clemson Rowing to Compete in the Head of the Chattahoochee

Clemson, S.C. – The Clemson rowing team will travel to Gainesville, GA, on Saturday to compete in the Head of the Chattahoochee on the Lake Lanier. The Tigers will see teams from across the region and country on the three-mile course. ACC rival Duke, Miami, Emory, Central Florida, Georgia and Tennessee are all scheduled to compete.

Clemson will participate in five events this year, including the Novice 8+, Novice 4+, Championship 8+, Championship 4+ and the Championship 2x.

Most recently, the Tigers competed in the Head of the Charles. The Varsity 8+ raced against 54 boats, finishing 20th with a time of 17:07.

Following this weekend’s race, the Tiger rowing team will travel to Charlottesville, VA, for the Rivanna Romp.
