Clemson Men’s Soccer Travels to N.C. State

CLEMSON, SC – The Clemson Men’s Soccer team will play at N.C. State Friday, September 23, at 7:00 pm in Raleigh, NC. Clemson is 1-4 overall, and 0-2 in the conference. Austin Savage has scored two of three goals in conference play for the Tigers. Savage has three goals and one assist for seven points, and is followed by Amadou Dia who has two goals this season.

N.C. State is 3-2-2 overall, and 0-1 for conference play. The Wolfpack is coming off a 4-0 win against Presbyterian College. Ollie Kelly leads the Pack in scoring with two goals and one assist for five points.

This will be the 53rd meeting between the two teams on the soccer field. Clemson leads the series with a record of 32-14-7 and a record of 7-4-1 over the last ten years. The two teams have battled into overtime play seven times since 1991.

Clemson is coming off of a 3-1 loss to 14th-ranked Charlotte Tuesday night. The Tigers are 0-2 on the road this season.
