Clemson Men’s Soccer to Play Host to #2 Maryland

Clemson, SC – The Clemson men’s soccer team will welcome second-ranked Maryland to Historic Riggs Field for an Atlantic Coast Conference showdown on Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m..

Clemson is currently 6-6-2 overall this season, and 2-2 in conference play. The Tigers scored two second half goals, but were not able to net an equalizer as Clemson fell to No. 6 Wake Forest last Sunday afternoon.

Maryland is currently 13-1 on the season, and a 3-1 conference record. The Terrapins were ranked No. 1 overall for four weeks this season before suffering their first loss against North Carolina. Maryland has only trailed an opponent twice this season.
