CLEMSON, SC – The Clemson Men’s Soccer team will play at Wake Forest on Friday, September 9 in its first conference game of the season in Winston-Salem, NC at 7:00 p.m. The Tigers are 1-1 on the season, while Wake Forest is 0-2-1 this year.
Clemson is coming off of a 2-0 win over South Carolina when Clemson’s regular-season attendance record was broken with 7,423 fans at Historic Riggs Field. Clemson’s match against UNC-Greensboro was postponed on Monday, September 5 due to weather.
This will be the 37th meeting between the Tigers and Deacons on the soccer field. Wake Forest leads the overall series with a 17-16-3 mark. The Tigers have a record of 25-16-3 in their first conference game of the year dating back to 1967.
