Clemson Notes:

  • The Clemson women’s tennis team travels to the state of Florida for two road matches against top-30 opponents this weekend. The Tigers take on 29th-ranked Miami on Friday, March 29 at 1 p.m. in Coral Gables, and 20th-ranked Florida State on Sunday, March 31 at 12 p.m. in Tallahassee.
  • The Tigers are coming off of two conference wins last week, as they defeated Bowling Green 7-0 and Towson 4-0 on Tuesday, March 19 in San Diego, Calif.
  • Seniors Marie-Alexandre Leduc and Fernanda Navarro are ranked No. 4 in the nation in doubles, according to the ITA poll released on March 19. The duo has a 12-3 dual match record in 2019 (5-2 in ACC dual matches) and a 24-6 overall record for the 2018-19 season.
  • Leduc is currently ranked 125th nationally in singles. The senior from Saguenay, Quebec is 8-6 in dual matches, and has faced nine ranked players out of her 14 opponents, with all 14 matches being played at No. 1 singles.
  • Leduc and Navarro are tied for the team lead in dual singles wins with eight apiece, while sophomore Laura Marti leads the team in conference dual singles wins, with four (4-2 record).
  • Senior Ally Miller-Krasilnikov is on a three-match winning streak in singles, and has played primarily at the No. 4 singles position this season.
