CLEMSON, S.C. – The Clemson women’s soccer team hosts its final exhibition match of the 2018 preseason on Saturday, Aug. 11 against Furman. The Tigers and the Paladins face off at 7 p.m. Saturday evening at Historic Riggs Field.
The 2018 squad saw their first action of the preseason on Wednesday as they played host to the Auburn Tigers. The match ended in a 2-2 tie after 90 minutes of play. Scoring for Clemson was Alana Hockenhull and Lauren Harkes.
This is the first time since 2015 that Clemson has faced Furman. The Tigers hold a 14-4-1 record over the Paladins.
Clemson will kick off the regular season Aug. 17 as they face Oregon State in Corvallis, Ore. The Tigers will return home on Sunday, Aug. 26 and face Indiana at 1 p.m.
