CLEMSON, SC – Senior McCuen Elmore fired a four under par 68 to lead the Clemson golf team to a 286 team score and a seventh place standing after two rounds of the US Collegiate Championships at the Lakeside Course at the Golf Club of Georgia. The 14 teams competing for the championship will conclude play on Tuesday. It will be the final round of the fall for Larry Penley’s 12th ranked Tigers.

Elmore had an opening round 73 and he is Clemson’s top golfer after two rounds with a 141 total, three under par for the 36 holes. He is tied for eighth place with four other golfers, including James White of Georgia Tech. Elmore improved from 31st to eighth with his fine play on Monday.
