Clemson, SC – Phillip Mollica fired a final round 69 to lead Clemson to a seventh place finish at the Linger Longer Invitational at Reynolds Plantation in Greensboro, GA on Sunday.
Mississippi won the event with a 856 total, while number-one ranked Georgia was second at 861. Clemson was seventh at 888. The Tigers were the only ACC team competing.
Mollica finished 15th overall, the top finish for a Clemson golfer, with a 218 score. He had rounds of 74-75-69 for the 54 holes. Mollica’s 69 on Sunday tied for the low round of the day in the field of 75 golfers. It was the first time this year Mollica was Clemson’s top golfer.
