Clemson Athletic Department Honors Jarrett Foster at Private Memorial Service

July 11, 2006

The Clemson athletic department held a private memorial service for Jarrett Foster, former assistant track & field coach who died in an accident late Saturday. The service was held Tuesday afternoon at the team meeting room in the McFadden Building on the Clemson campus. Administrators, coaches, student-athletes, and friends were on hand to help celebrate the life of Foster, who had been at Clemson since the 1999-2000 season. Foster’s parents, Jimmy and Linda, also were at the service.

Highlights from the service included opening remarks from longtime Clemson administrator George Bennett, a song by administrators Barbara Kennedy-Dixon and Pam Powell, reflections from head coach Bob Pollock and assistant athletic director John Seketa, and a slideshow presentation of Foster memories.
