CLEMSON, S.C. – Megan Bornkamp and Hal Hershfelt have been named to the 2023 Preseason All-ACC Team, as announced by the conference office on Thursday.
The Tigers were voted to finish sixth by the league’s coaches in the preseason poll.
Bornkamp was recently named a Defender to Watch by the United Soccer Coaches as the senior continues to add more accolades to her career as a Tiger. Bornkamp has been named to the preseason team in back-to-back seasons as she was also voted to the team in 2022.
This marks the first season that Hershfelt has been named to the preseason list, however the midfielder was named to the All-ACC Second Team in the 2022 and 2021 seasons and was named to the All-ACC Third Team in the 2020-21 campaign.
Hershfelt is set to play in her fifth and final season in the orange and purple, as she and Bornkamp will get the 2023 campaign started next week.
