Baseball Advances to Super Regional

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) – Justin Singleton hit a three-run homer to help Clemson to a 7-5 victory over Southwest Missouri State in the regional championship game.

Singleton’s homer capped a four-run first inning for the Tigers (41-25), who had to beat Southwest Missouri State (38-19) twice Sunday.

Khalil Greene’s two-run double in the fourth gave Clemson a 7-2 lead.

Matt Gardner homered for the Bears.
