Athletics to Host Third Solid Orange…One Clemson Event

Once again, Clemson Athletics is encouraging all Tiger fans to show spirit and wear orange for the Solid Orange…One Clemson event that takes place on Sunday, Oct. 5th, as Trevor Adair’s men’s soccer team plays host to the South Carolina Gamecocks at 2:00 PM at Historic Riggs Field. Clemson is currently 2-0 in Solid Orange…One Clemson events.

The first 500 fans wearing orange to the men’s soccer match against South Carolina will receive a free One Clemson…Solid Orange…It’s About Pride t-shirt. Four t-shirts will be specially marked for additional prizes to be awarded to four lucky fans attending the game.

The Clemson-South Carolina soccer match will have Solid Orange…One Clemson ticket pricing. During the 2003-2004 season, selected men’s and women’s basketball, men’s soccer and baseball games, an additional fee will be applied to each game ticket sold for the designated Solid Orange…One Clemson event. The proceeds from these events will be used for facility development (within athletics) and a specific University project, as directed by President Barker. The goal is produce a sell-out crowd, recognize the University’s wide accomplishments, promote all sports and show Clemson spirit.

Clemson students will continue to receive complimentary admission to the Solid Orange…One Clemson events, however Clemson faculty and staff will be charged full admission price to these designated game events.
