Senior Vic Beasley was named the ACC Defensive Lineman of the Week on Monday after the Tigers’ 35-17 victory over rival South Carolina last Saturday. The senior had two sacks and three tackles for loss, including a strip sack that led to a Clemson touchdown a few plays later. That touchdown gave the Tigers a 14-7 lead and they never looked back. Beasley, the school’s all-time leading sack leader, finished his senior campaign with 11 sacks and 18.5 tackles for loss, both ACC bests.
