McCormack won his second individual title of the season, and of his career, at the Charlotte Invitational on Friday. The freshman recorded a new season-best time in an 8K race, crossing the finish line in 24:37.4 to win the event. McCormack earned Performer of the Week honors from the Atlantic Coast Conference for the performance.
