Jervey Gym Reminders

On Jan. 12, Clemson Athletics announced that Jervey Gym will remain under the same operations as the fall season. As a result, the number of permissible spectators inside Jervey Gym will be capped at 250 entrants, limited to student-athlete and staff guests, as well as Clemson students. Face coverings will be required, and seating will be socially distanced within the facility. Those who are listed among the CDC’s at-risk groups are especially vulnerable and should consider staying home and refraining from attending any Clemson Athletic event.

CLEMSON, S.C. – The Clemson Volleyball team (11-9, 5-8 ACC) hosts No. 18 Pitt on Thursday and Virginia Tech on Saturday in Jervey Gym. Thursday’s matchup against the Panthers is set for 5 p.m. as is Saturday’s contest against the Hokies. Both matches are slated to stream on ACCNX.

Series History

• The last time Clemson and Pitt met was in 2019 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania as the Panthers defeated the Tigers in four sets.
• Pitt leads the all-time series against Clemson, 8-1.
• The last time Clemson and Virginia Tech met was in 2019 in Clemson, South Carolina as the Hokies defeated the Tigers in five sets.
• Clemson leads the all-time series against Virginia Tech, 20-13.

Notes

• The last time out, Clemson lost its match in Notre Dame, Indiana against No. 23 Notre Dame in four sets.
• True freshman outside hitter Camryn Hannah was named Co-ACC Freshman of the Week for the third time this season for her efforts at Notre Dame.
• Camryn put away 22 kills and hit .340 while adding 11 digs in the match.
• All matches played and statistics accumulated in the spring of 2021 are counted toward the 2020 season.
