Position: Coordinator of Psychological Health Services for Student-Athletes
Bailey Nevels, Ph.D. served as the Coordinator of Psychological Health Services for Student-Athletes until 2022. Dr. Nevels delivered clinical, outreach, consultation and educational services to Clemson’s student-athletes. Dr. Nevels earned her doctoral degree in counseling psychology from University of Georgia in 2014 and completed her psychology internship at Clemson University’s Counseling and Psychological Services in 2014.
She works from a primarily Cognitive-Behavioral framework and integrates Interpersonal Processing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. Her professional interests include student-athlete mental health, multiculturalism and diversity, assessment, mindfulness and eating disorders.
