Clemson, S.C. – The Clemson women’s tennis team enters its second week of action this fall as it competes in the Debbie Southern Furman Classic over the weekend. Six Tigers will compete over the weekend including freshmen Ali DeSpain and Zaina Nait Omar who will both make their collegiate debut.
Competition will begin on Friday and continue through Sunday as a total of 13 teams are scheduled to see the court over the weekend. Several ACC teams will be in attendance including Duke, Florida State, Georgia Tech, North Carolina and Wake Forest. Furman, Mississippi State, Ohio State, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and Vanderbilt are also set to compete in the tournament.
